Do you find going to the dentist can be an overwhelming experience and not high on your list of exciting things to do?
During your first-time visit, we will manage your concerns and anxieties as our aim is to make your experience with us relaxed as possible.
What to Expect on your first visit.
The dentist will perform a complete oral examination and discuss any treatment you may need. The examination can identify conditions such as tooth decay, periodontal disease and even oral cancer. We may need to take some radiographs (x-rays) to further investigate your teeth (with your consent).
You will be presented with a printed treatment plan which includes your treatment costs. If at any point changes are required in this plan we will update any changes in costs. You will also see our treatment co-ordinator Louise.
Louise will sit down and go over every aspect of treatment with you. She will explain why the treatment is necessary, how long it will take, what is involved and the cost. Louise will see you in a comfortable and private environment to make you more relaxed and will encourage you to ask any question or discuss your concerns.
All of our New Patients see Louise if she is available before their appointment and after. This enables new patients to raise any issues before seeing the dentist.
You can also see Louise without being a patient if you are nervous and want to get familiar with the practice before registering with us!
Booking an appointment is easy, you can request your preferred time online or call 01452 526526.
